MY upset canton fair experience


i have a relative in the United States, running some machine parts business.
I uesed to recommend him to find the factories in china mainland as
suppliers,but has not found the right one.
Then i leave my hopes on the Spring canton Fair.
Now,i just come back from the canton Fair , The whole situation disappoints me,
Here is my experience:

1, on the website of the Canton Fair, i can not find the
electronic application menu, then i called to ask,then i was
told the original website is another one. A Fair has two
different public websites, very very puzzled.

2, I mailed the public website to my relative.
He appply for the buyer certificate on April 2,
while he didn't get any reply. I called Foreign
Liaison Department to ask, but reply became cold voice
revord system. i feel very very lost.

3, I came to the canton fair at last. Then i find
foreigner without invitation is required to pay 110 yuan fee,
and for chinese, 250 yuan / day. They also charge 30 RMB for a photo.
I thought it was me invit relative and His staff
to the Fair, then i went to the Advisory Service
to ask. The girl there show a very cold face to me
,who speak Chinese. i had to go back to my relative
without any result. At last, we had to pay an hour for queueing,
taking photoese,and paying money. Everybody became
tired, and very very irritable.

4, After caming into the fair hall. It's very chaotic.
Paper pockets and information are everywhere,
also we do not know what is preparaed for the participants.
It is obviously huge waste. i want to get some useful information,
so I also ask the information girl,and she asked me angrily: what do you want ?

5, when I just walked into the exhibition area.
My relative was tripped by the uneven groud in the fair
hall.One of my relative's staff who can speak Chinese told me,
it's absolutely impossible to find uneven ground
United States exhibition hall. This really embarrass me.

6, the entire exhibition area have no chair for rest.
we can rest only in the cafe outside. Unfortunately,
the weather that day is terribly rainy,
we had no places for rest the whole day and feel very helpless.

7, exhibitors booth sometimes has no matter with the informtion
we get from the pamphlet we got from organizer.

8 in the course of the entire visit, we only talked with
a girl in a booth.While she obviously doesn't know
what her spare parts made of. it's clear some type of Steel,
while she seems not understand the basic knowleage about this and
say it wae made of some iron. We were shocked.

9 we used schedule to spent one or two days in canton fair.
At last, we finished in three hours.After get out of the fair hall,
we met a buyer from UK. He said the organization of this
canton fair is bad,while buyer must
pay so much for this low quality service.

I have no intention of defaming canton fair.
I just want to clarify from another point of view
and better promote some of our work, and I hope we
can further the country's economic prosperity,
to have more And more manufacturers and better service
the customer to canton fair.
